Rizospirillum is a biostimulant that contains Azospirillum brasilense, a species of bacteria that enhances plant growth.
Rizospirillum bacteria colonize the rhizosphere and promote plant development by means of biological nitrogen fixation, nutrient solubilization and phytohormones (such as auxins, gibberellins and cytokinins) release, allowing for a higher crop yield potential.
Research has shown that the association of Azospirillum brasilense with corn can promote root development, which improves water and nutrient uptake (thus intensifying tolerance to hydric stress) and stimulates growth.
